Zinati, Ali
Ben Shaharban and Salah. Was born on 28.10.1971 in the Druze village of Abu Sinan, from a large family of children. Ali grew up in his native village. He studied at the State Elementary School in the village and continued his high school studies at the Amal vocational school in Shfaram. In his youth, he was active in the Gadna, liked to travel and explore the surroundings, and showed keen interest in sports, especially in the soccer field, and spoke of his great respect for his parents, his love for all his family and his willingness to help friends, residents and all those who asked for his help. He was drafted into a compulsory military service in September 1989 and assigned to serve in the maintenance corps. After basic training he underwent a training course in driving and was assigned to the position of driver in an artillery battalion. Was a disciplined soldier, quiet, professional and sympathetic to his comrades in the unit. Ali was killed while carrying out his duties on 16 March 1992 by a weapon and was laid to rest in the cemetery in the village of Abu Sinan. He laid down parents and seven brothers and sisters – Muhammad, Badi’a, Ahlas, and Dia, Assad, Katif and Anad. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, the battalion commander wrote about the integrity, diligence, and willingness of Ali to help his comrades. The commander saw him as a soldier, a warrior, a personal example to his colleagues.
