Zilberberg, Reuven (Roman)
Son of Sonia and Litman, was born on June 15, 1949, in the city of Vilnius (Vilna). He was the third son of parents of Holocaust survivors. He spent his childhood in his hometown, where he attended elementary school. In 1957 he immigrated to Israel with his family and was sent to a boarding school in Pardes Hanna. From there he moved to the “Shevach” vocational school in Tel Aviv and after a short period of time decided to study at the hotel. He successfully completed his studies at the Tadmor Hotel School and was certified as a senior employee in the industry. As a student at Tadmor, he began to work in various positions in hotels. He loved the job, devoted himself to the sport, and worked in lifting weights. He also organized sports competitions. Reuven was prominent in his extensive social activities. He played guitar and melodica, loved light music and especially loved the songs of the 1960s. She spent a lot of time dancing, watching movies. His abundant vitality attracted friends and friends. He married a 20-year-old and built his home in Ramat Gan, where his children were born. In June 1967, during the period of waiting for the Six Day War, he enlisted in the IDF and was assigned to serve in the rear unit, where he completed a paramedic course and after serving in reserve duty, he served in a reserve unit in December 1982. On December 3, 1982, (19.12.1982) Reuven fell during his service and was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Holon. He left behind a wife, two daughters, a son, a father, three brothers and a sister
