Zifroni, David

Son of Shaul and Sarah. He was born on September 20, 1933 in Aleppo, Syria. He immigrated to Israel as part of Youth Aliya in 1945. Upon his arrival in Israel, he was immediately arranged in Moshav Atarot near Jerusalem, and after a while was transferred to the farm in Afula. In 1947, his parents immigrated to Israel, and when they were old and exhausted, he offered them a helping hand out of love and devotion. He joined the Young Brigade of the United Workers Party and was active in it. In June 1951, he was drafted into the IDF but was unable to sit down and applied for a profession, and his commanders accepted his request, but in the course of his duty on the 26th of Sivan 5713 (26.5.1953) he fell to the eternal rest of the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul .
