Zevuloni, Sarah (‘Sarah’le’)

Sarah bas Shalom and Yonah. She was born onth the 15th of Kislav, November 27th 1958 in Kibbutz Usha. She was recruited to the IDF on November 28, 1977 and joined the paratroopers. After basic training, she underwent a parachute packing course, followed by a parachute holder, her main job in the service. On October 5, 1978, Sara was killed in a road accident while in the line of duty and was brought to rest in the cemetery on Kibbutz Osha, leaving behind her parents and two brothers. Her unit commander wrote, ” Shoshana was ready for any action that had been imposed upon her, with a sense of mission and devotion.”
