Zelinger, Lutz


Son of Martin. Born in 1918 in Germany, he immigrated to Palestine in 1936. He joined the British Army and was assigned to the Armored Corps, where he served in the army for four years. On 15 Nisan, March 30, 1945, in the attack on the German town of Dering on the German-Dutch border, he fell with all his friends in a tank. His name was immortalized in the Book of Volunteerism, in the Yizkor book of the Jabotinsky Institute and in the Book of the Year of the Press.
