Zelikowicz, Shraga (Feibish)
He was born in the city of Bacau, Romania, in 1918. During the War of Independence he participated in various activities and battles and took part in the defense of Ramat Rachel. The situation became even worse when, on May 19, 1948, Egyptian forces arrived with cannons, and the enemy concentrated an effort to capture the point and was subjected to heavy shelling. After a heavy bombardment, the situation of the defenders was desperate, a reinforcements unit was dispatched to the site, but the armored vehicle was hit by a shell and most of the reinforcements were injured. He died on May 22, 1948. He was buried in Sheik-Bader A. On September 10, 1950, he was transferred to the military cemetery at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
