Zelikowicz, Abraham
Son of Chaya and Meir. He was born in 1907 in Lithuania and immigrated to Eretz Yisrael in 1925. He lived in Petach Tikvah, was one of the first members of the Histadrut labor federation in the village and fought for Hebrew labor, later joining the Hagana and active in its ranks. On 22 Tamuz (21.7.1938), when he left with a group of workers accompanied by guards for work in Ein Fashcha, they were attacked by an Arab gang that killed Avraham together with his co-worker Chaim Yoslowitz and the guardians Shlomo Shvili and Avraham Abadi-Zedek. They were laid to rest in the cemetery in Petach Tikva. He left a wife and two sons.
