Zeitun, Victor (“Tutor”)


Victor, son of Leon and Margo Zeitun, was born on September 15, 1943 in Sfax, Tunisia. The family immigrated to Israel in 1955. In 1964, he was drafted into the IDF. He was then called to reserve duty at the outbreak of the Six-Day War. On the first day of the battles, on 26 Iyar, 5.6.1967, he fell in a battle that took place in Ya’abed in the Shomron. He was buried in the military cemetery in Afula and was later transferred to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
