He graduated from elementary school in Rehovot, excelled in his studies and was loved by his friends And his teachers. Although he called his girlfriend very much, he returned home after 3 years to help support his parents. He worked as a laborer and was known as an industrious and dedicated worker. Nathan joined the Haganah on his kibbutz and returned to Rehovot, where he served in the Haganah, where he smuggled weapons, helped immigrate to Beria, and participated in bringing illegal immigrants to the shore. , And served in the Givati ​​Brigade. He first guarded Rehovot, and later took part in the battles in the village of Uriya and was one of the first to rescue him wherever needed.
