Zechariah, Gil

Ben Dizzy and Sasson. Gil was born in Tel Aviv on June 27, 1971. On 30.10.1989 he joined the IDF and served in the Israel Defense Forces. After his discharge, he continued to serve in the reserves every year, and even volunteered to continue serving when he reached the age of exemption. Gil married Josepha. The couple lived in Or Yehuda and raised their children. Advanced Sergeant Gil fell in the line of duty on 30.8.2015 while serving in reserve duty. Forty-four years old in his fall. He was laid to rest in the military section of the Yehud cemetery. Survived by a wife, parents and three children.
