Son of Miriam and Israel. Dov was born in Poland on December 28, 1911. The family immigrated to Israel in 1924 and settled in Ramat Gan, where they married three children: Miriam, Yisrael Yitzhak and Ilana Dov joined the Israel Prison Service in July 1949. In the course of time, he took an officers’ course and until 1967 he served in the Jerusalem area of ​​the Commission, where he served as head of the Prison Service, and later served as the head of the Ashmoret prison. His work at the Prisons Service was sent to many courses, including the management of factories and specialization in intelligence. On February 7, 1972, Lieutenant-Colonel Dov was killed in a traffic accident at the Shaar Hagai junction. Sixty dead. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, Tel Aviv. Survived by a wife and three children
