Yunis, Vladimir

Born in the Soviet Union on February 22, 1958, Vladimir studied for eight years in his hometown, and when he immigrated to Israel with his family in 1973, he was accepted to the Neurim boarding school in Kfar Vitkin and studied airplanes for two years. He was drafted into the IDF in early February 1977. Prior to his discharge from service, on the 27th of Nissan 5740 (13.4.1980), Vladimir fell during his service and was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Holon, leaving behind his parents.
