Yotam (Aharonovitch), Noach


Daughter of Dvora and Chaim-David Aharonovitz, was born in Russia in 1894. In 1921, she immigrated to Eretz Israel to live a working life, first working in Petah Tikva and then managing a kitchen in Mikvah Israel, and in 1945 she married Menashe Yatom, During the War of Independence, when the women and children were evacuated from Beer Tuvia, Noah (who was a member of the Hagana) remained in the village to help the defenders On October 10, 1948, she was killed by an Egyptian shell fired from the direction of Ashdod. She was laid to rest in the military cemetery at Beer Tuvia.
