In 1989 the family immigrated to Israel and set up their home in Migdal HaEmek, where Roni grew up and was educated, attended the Shalom Aleichem elementary school and at the ORT Rogozin High School. Ronny loved his family very much. His younger brothers saw him as another parent, and with his older brother they formed strong friendships and deep ties. Ronny was a sports guy, and he liked running and playing basketball and soccer. At home, he was educated on the values ​​of giving respect and helping others, and the results were evident in his strong desire to give to others mentally and physically. During his free time he volunteered to work in public works and to contribute to the company. At the end of his studies he chose to volunteer for a year of service in Nir HaEmek in Afula, where he educated youths aged 15-16, but since he dreamed of enlisting in the Border Police, he left the training center in the middle of the year. In March 2002, he enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the Border Police, and after training, he was stationed in Jenin, and during the entire period Roni never showed difficulties in coping with the few departures. Where he bought everyone’s heart with his broad smile, and Roni easily and sympathetically joined his friends and friends, and loved his occupation On April 4, 2003, Roni fell in combat. About two-and-a-half months after he moved to serve in Nablus, Roni left the jeep with his commander, another combatant and a paramedic to erect a checkpoint following news of terrorist intentions to carry out an attack in the Shavei Shomron area. On the way to Mount Eival, the jeep encountered an obstacle. In an attempt to reverse, the jeep overturned, and Roni was killed. He was twenty years old when he died. Roni was buried in the military section of the cemetery in Migdal Ha’emek. After his death he was promoted to the rank of lieutenant, leaving behind his parents and four brothers.
