Was born on August 29, 1976 in Baku, in the Caucasus, a brother to Ilana and Emil, a handsome and handsome child with a charming smile, a good and disciplined boy. He studied at the Givon Elementary School in Tel Hanan, and was a diligent and intelligent child, who invested in his studies and performed the tasks he was assigned in the right way and in the best way possible. Even before he was nine years old, the father of the family died and left the mother, Raya, with three young children. He liked to play football, volleyball and basketball, and was a fan of Maccabi Haifa. At the end of November 1994, Ruslan joined the IDF. He dreamed of serving a combat service in the Golani Brigade and contributing to the state, and succeeded in convincing his mother to sign an agreement to enlist him in a combat unit. Upon his induction, he was assigned to the ‘Gideon’ battalion in the Golani Brigade. Ruslan was very fond of serving in the IDF, and was very proud to be a combat soldier in Golani, and his commanders saw him as a dedicated soldier and an excellent fighter who volunteered first for every mission and performed his duties diligently. On September 14, 1997, when a Golani force returned from ambush in the central sector of the security zone in south Lebanon, a roadside bomb exploded, killing Ruslan, who was a sharp fighter in the platoon. The tour was accompanied by Staff Sergeant Ofir Bassol. Ruslan was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Haifa and is twenty-one years old. Survived by mother, sister and brother.
