Yosef Shalom

Son of Mansour and Daughter of-Sheva. Born on 24.11.1949 in Tel Aviv and studied at the Hatikvah elementary school in the Hatikvah neighborhood and in the electronics high school in the city, he was active in his friends’ circle and when they had a club at Yad Eliyahu they held lectures and games and went on trips. He was a quiet but not shy boy, a boy who was very pleasant to be with, and his friends always asked for his girlfriend, who would walk around the streets singing loudly, and all the voices would stand out in peace, and his friends knew that his door was always open to them and sometimes late at night To share with him experiences or to tell him about his difficulties and problems The right of any person not see a negative character. Peace was drafted into the IDF in mid-October 1967 because of his love for the sea volunteered to serve in the Navy. Shalom participated in naval operations but at home and in the company did not tell them anything and they became known to his friends by reading the newspaper. On September 25, 1970, Sgt. Shalom found his death. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
