Yosef, Rahamim (David Yefet)


Son of Moshe and Mazal. Born on January 12, 1938 in Aden, the family immigrated to Israel in 1949. After studying at the “Bilu” elementary school in Tel Aviv, he also studied at the “Shevach” vocational school. He loved sports and was a member of Maccabi Atid in the basketball team. He was a favorite of all his co-workers and sports. Worked as a clerk. He was drafted into the IDF in August 1957 and was devoted and loyal to the army in fulfilling his duties and assisting the commanders in his unit, and he was also among the organizers of sports and sports evenings. – The military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. His parents and family donated a candle to his memory and books to the Avshalom synagogue in Tel Aviv. A memorial plaque was also named for him. A Torah scroll dedicated to his name and memory also brought his parents to the same synagogue. His name was also commemorated in the synagogue of the Ashkenazim in Tel Aviv.
