Yonai (Yaffa), Haim

Son of Bilha and Aryeh. He was born on August 15, 1910, in the town of Dombrovica, in Volhynia, where he received a Jewish education in his roots, and in the “Heder” he excelled as a Torah-loving student. He was a member of the “Hechalutz” branch in his hometown, and in the early years of his studies, he went on a training period in training kibbutzim in Lodz and Alexander. He was also active in the Hebrew department and taught the language to those who did not know it. He joined the Kibbutz Dafna where he bore the burden of the flock and went out with his herds to graze during the seasons of the year, in Horev and in the winter, but he read with great passion and completed his knowledge in various fields. He made aliyah in 1938 and lived in Kibbutz Dafna. Haim was killed in a car accident on 3 Cheshvan, 17.10.1947, and was brought to eternal rest in the kibbutz cemetery. He left a wife, a son and a daughter.
