Yom Tov, Shlomo


Son of Teresa and Joseph. He was born on July 11, 1972 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The eldest son of his parents, the brother of Batsheva, Nira, Deborah, and Yehudit. In Argentina, Shlomi studied in a religious kindergarten from the age of two, and later attended the “Weitzman” Jewish school. In the last year before his family immigrated to Israel, he attended the Shalom Aleichem Bialik School. On June 28, 1983, the family immigrated to Israel, to Ashdod, where Shlomi studied in a summer ulpan and then began his sixth grade at the Zemach Aleph school. In seventh grade he participated in a white gymnastics class and even appeared at school parties. He did his high school studies at “Makif Hashem” school. Shlomi was a diligent and diligent student, and in the 10th grade, he was accepted to the Electronics and Computation Division. He finished high school with a full matriculation certificate and a vocational certificate. In 1990, he graduated from high school and decided to continue to study for the thirteenth grade at the Ordnance Corps College at the 20 Zrifin base. In August 1991, Shlomo was drafted into the Israel Armaments Corps and a year later went to an officer’s course, where he served as an arming officer at various bases, where he served Sophie, whom he married on August 8, 1996. Four years later, Yuval moved to Sderot, where his daughter Shachar was born in 2002. That year, Shlomi began his studies in economics and business administration for an army degree, and a few months before his death, he returned to service on May 22, 2005.
