Yoel (Marder), Yaakov

Son of Chaya and Eliezer, was born on November 15, 1927. More details about his family and his origins and occupation are unknown: During the War of Independence he served in the Givati Brigade, participated in the “Yoav” operation in the Negev, and fell in battle on the outposts of the junction, on the 14th of Tishrei, October 17, 1948. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in the village of Warburg.
