Yoachimovich, Pinchas

Son of Simcha and Shoshana. He was born on June 28, 1946 in Poland. In 1949, the family immigrated to Israel with him, and when he reached school he began studying at the Tachkemoni elementary school in Tel Aviv. After that he studied for one year the drawing profession at an evening school. He was drafted into the IDF in May 1964. Once in reserve duty, he was among those who went out to retaliate against the Jordanian sabotage bases, an operation known as Operation Karameh (a town east of the Jordan, from which the enemy saboteurs went to Israel).
