Yitzhak, Yihye

Yitzhak, son of Shalom and Ladaya Yihye, was born in 1921 in Yemen and studied religious studies. He immigrated to Israel in 1949. He came to the aid of Jewish orphans when others tried to convert them to Islam. Yitzhak was drafted into the IDF in September 1951. In the course of his duties, on February 14, 1952, he fell and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
