Yitzhak, Tzadok


Son of Hilweh and Avraham. Zadok was born in Iraq in 1948. In 1951, he immigrated to Israel with his parents, who settled in the north of the country in Menahemia, and after a while they moved to Herzliya, where Zadok completed his elementary studies in Menahemia and began his high school studies at Kibbutz Ein Harod Ihud, For a year he was forced to stop his studies and help support the family, and Zadok was very devoted to his family and made sure to give his salary to the family in order to finance his brother’s studies. In 1966, when he reached the IDF, Zadok chose to serve in the Border Police. After completing his basic training and training period, he was assigned as a combat soldier in Company Z. Tzadok was known as a courageous, devoted, Ehud, disciplined and highly motivated person, which was especially noticeable when they completed the course of the commanding officers On Tuesday, 25 October 1968, Zadok went to a routine ambush near the Jordan-Syria border meeting. During the ambush, exchanges of fire ensued, in which he was killed. Sergeant Tzadok was twenty years old when he fell. He was buried in the military section of the Herzliya cemetery.
