Yifrah, Moshe
Son of Mazal and Meir, was born on February 16, 1925, in Tel Aviv. He graduated from the Kol Israel Haverim elementary school in the Neve Tzedek neighborhood of Tel Aviv and completed his studies at the “HaNoar HaOved” evening school. He recently worked as a farmer in the Talitmacher factory in the Wolobelski neighborhood. He was loved by his friends and colleagues and hired his parents to support the family of ten. In the winter of 1948, at the outbreak of the War of Independence, he took part in the defense of the city’s borders and in action against the Arab rioters in Jaffa, and his parents’ apartment was destroyed on Chelouche Street, and his brother was wounded and he helped them save their property and transfer them to their temporary residence. Heroically in the battle for Jaffa and then for Ramle, fell on Wednesday, June 11, 1948. On 11 Iyar 5712 (6.5.1952) he was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
