Moshe successfully studied a two-year marine trend, was accepted to the Merchant Navy as a machine apprentice and even embarked on training cruises. During his studies, he was a member of the Bnei Akiva youth organization. He loved sports and played soccer and basketball. He was the first among his friends and helped everyone. In his spare time he read books a lot. Moshe joined the IDF in August 1970 and volunteered to serve in the Golani Brigade, successfully completing basic training, participating in a combat paramedics course, and becoming a combat medic in the unit, with his unit passing through the country and giving his part in defending it. The commander of his unit wrote in a letter of condolence to the family: “Moshe your son served in a unit that is one of the best in the IDF, and together with us, he underwent employment and operational activities on all the cease-fire lines – – All the tasks and tasks that were assigned to your son Moshe were fulfilled by him in an excellent manner, always with dedication and responsibility Patt… “His parents donated a Torah scroll to the central synagogue in Eilat Commemoration.
