Yerushalmi, Vered


Daughter of Georgette and Yoav. Vered was born in Jerusalem and completed her studies at the Hava Ginogli High School, and after completing her studies, she enlisted in the army and served as a maintenance officer in the 408th Brigade. The son Sahar was born in 1990. In 1987, Vered joined the Israel Police and served as a secretary in the police commissioner’s office. In 1991 she moved to serve in the Samaria region. Her colleagues and Vered’s family describe her as a diligent and committed wife to her work and her family. A woman who loved to hang out, walk and dance. A woman whose little son was the center of her world. During her service in the Samaria region, Vered’s illness was first discovered. At the end of 1993, the disease broke out again, and on February 22, 1993, Vered passed away, and First Sergeant Vered was twenty-five years old, and was buried in the cemetery on Mount Herzl, Jerusalem.
