Son of Amnon and Miriam. He was born on May 9, 1958 in Kibbutz Dorot. His childhood was normal and his physical development was rapid. He was a partner to the children of the kibbutz in the children’s company in all their antics, but his parents’ divorce at a young age left a sad impression on his life and adversely affected his studies. Despite his great potential, Lior began to lag behind in his studies. In order to overcome this, he was sent to the regional school on Kibbutz Givat Haim where he studied for several years. Although he suffered from the severance from the agriculture and the society and the longing for his parents, he understood that the studies at Givat Haim were for his benefit. Lior finished high school in Givat Haim. During his studies, he did a lot of sports, especially riding sports, which was his favorite hobby. He cultivated the stable and took care of the horses during their free time. At the same time, he contributed a lot of his power to the public in the spirit of the kibbutz tradition. Lior was a pleasant man, with a delicate and sensitive soul, and he seemed pleased with his lot. When he returned to Kibbutz Dorot before enlistment.
