Yekutiel, Chaim

Son of Sophia and David, was born in 1915 in Salonika, Greece. In 1946 he immigrated to Israel and settled in Jerusalem. At the outbreak of the War of Independence he enlisted and was assigned to the Etzioni Brigade. Was seriously wounded in the battle for the broadcasting station on Haneviim Street and on the 6th of Sivan 5708 (13.6.1948) he died of his injury and the next day he was laid to rest at the Sanhedria cemetery in Jerusalem
