Son of Chaya and Zvi. He was born on December 2, 1967 in Jerusalem. The eldest son of his parents. He attended the “State of the Boys” elementary school in Uziel and continued his studies at the Himmelfarb High School. He was a member of the Bnei Akiva youth movement and at the same time active in the Gadna-Air, because of his strong desire to be a pilot in the Israel Air Force, where he took part in classes and camps held at air force bases and developed significant friendships with many secular members. In January 1986, in the middle of the sabbatical year, he returned to Israel, enlisted in the IDF, and was assigned to serve in the IDF. in the air Force. He volunteered for an aviation course and studied for about five months. He later volunteered to serve in the paratroopers. On September 15, 1988, Amir was killed in an accident in a training area in the vicinity of the Beit Guvrin caves and was brought to rest, World at the Military Cemetery at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. He was promoted to lieutenant after his fall. Survived by his parents, sister Efrat and brother Alon. Amir Yekutiel, and published a collection of articles on “The sanctity of life and the courage of Jewish history and Jewish thought” Avi Ravitzky and Prof. Yeshayahu Gafni, where his soldiers erected a monument in his memory.
