Yehudioff, Maman
Maman, son of Adina and Mashiach Yehudioff, was born in 1905 in the city of Samarkand, Bukhara, Russia. He graduated from the Gymnasium in Russia and was involved in commerce. In 1930 he immigrated to Israel and settled in Jerusalem. He also dealt in commerce in Israel. He was a member of the Hagana and during the War of Independence, during the siege of Jerusalem, he served in the “People’s Guard”. On May 22, 1948, while serving as a guard, he was hit by an enemy shell and fell while carrying out his duties. He was buried in Sheikh Bader A. On the 28th of Elul 5710 (September 10, 1950), at the family’s request, he was transferred to the eternal rest of the cemetery at Har HaMenuchot in Jerusalem.
