Yehezkel, Yosef
Ben Georgia and Hihui. Joseph was born in Iraq on April 1, 1943. Immigrated to Israel together with his family and they settled in the city of Acre, he studied and acquired his education at the “Tomer” school. Yosef joined the IDF and served as a combat soldier in the Armored Corps, and took part in the Six-Day War, where he joined the Israel Police Force, where he worked as an enemy terrorist operative in the territories. He then moved to serve in the northern district as an intelligence coordinator at the Misgav station and in the Modi’in Intelligence Bureau in the Galilee region of Acre. In 1988, Joseph was awarded the Service Medal for his achievements and contribution to the system. Rabbi Yosef was killed during his service on July 7, 1994. Fifty-one in his fall. He was buried in the Acre cemetery. Survived by a woman – Raheli, and two children – Chaim and Iris.
