Yehezkel, Meir


Son of Saliman and Massouda. Born in 1923 in Baghdad, capital of Iraq, he completed his studies in a Jewish high school and immigrated to Israel in 1950. He was a member of the Hapoel Hamizrahi movement and was involved in public work and teaching, and fell in Sinai on Sunday, (5.11.1956), who was buried in Eilat and on the 28th of Shevat 5718 (29.1.1958) was transferred to the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem and placed a wife and five children in Beit She’an. “Maor” in his name.
