Yefet, Aryeh


Was born in Tel Aviv on December 15, 1931. He studied at a Talmud Torah for Yemenites and then began working in a mosaic factory. Aryeh loved sports since his youth, participated in trips, practiced boxing and participated in youth competitions. He was known to be brave and firm in his will. When he was 15, Aryeh joined the Irgun underground and took part in its activities against the British. As a soldier who fought in the Etzel attack on Ramle, Aryeh fell on the 24th of Iyar 5708 (June 2, 1948) and was brought to eternal rest in the Nahalat Yitzhak Military Cemetery.
