Yefet, Aharon
Son of Simcha and Meir. He was born on July 19, 1968 in Rishon Letzion. He studied at the Vitkin Elementary School and continued at Amal Technical School, where he graduated from high school, was a reading enthusiast and spent his leisure time reading thriller and science fiction and watching movies. In October 1986, after completing his studies, he enlisted in the IDF and was assigned to serve in the Artillery Corps. The service in the combat corps was important to him and he played a vital role in the unit. Aaron fell during his service on the 17th of Nissan 5748 (4.4.1988) and was brought to rest at the military cemetery in Rishon LeZion. Survived by his parents, two sisters and a brother. The commander of the unit wrote in a letter of condolence to the bereaved family about Aharon’s positive character, who was a quiet, competent and disciplined soldier who played a vital role in the unit and always did what was best done to him.
