Yedid, Eliezer

Eliezer, son of Yelena and Alex Yedid, was born in Ukraine, then in the Soviet Union, in 1979. Eliezer immigrated to Israel in 2001, when he was twenty-one and a half years old. On December 11, 2002, he enlisted in the IDF and completed his regular service in the Binyamin Brigade, where he advanced to the rank of sergeant, On 5 Av, 12.7.2013, he was killed in a traffic accident. He was thirty-four years old. Eliezer was laid to rest in the military section of the Barkan cemetery. Survived by a wife, father and brother. Eliezer was promoted to the rank of First Sergeant.
