Yaron, Yael


Son of Izhar and Sima, members of Ein Hashofet. He was born on May 24, 1947. In his childhood, Yael stood out as a lively and mischievous child on the one hand, but full of seriousness and thought on the other, attended the elementary school in Ein Ha-Shofet and later studied high school in the “Harry Ephraim” educational institution where he entered He was a member of the orchestra of the Kibbutzim and played in various chamber music ensembles, the music was very close to his Lev and he treated her with love, was very beloved to his students and was also one of the most prominent members of his class. In November 1966 he was drafted into the IDF. After the basic training period, he was assigned to the Golani reconnaissance unit, a unit that saw many challenges and aspired to be among its members. For about seven months he managed to provide his military service at the outbreak of the Six-Day War. On the fifth day of her battles, he fell on a battle in Tel el-Fakhr in the Golan Heights, and despite being relatively new in the army, he fought as a veteran soldier and showed initiative and courage. In the booklet “53 of Them” in memory of the fallen of the Kibbutz Artzi in the Six Day War, a page was dedicated to his history.
