Asher, son of Sarah and Pinchas, was born on September 6, 1949 in Kfar Saba. He began his studies at Raanana’s Yavneh Elementary School. After graduating from third grade, his parents went on a mission to Mexico, where he continued to attend elementary school, grades 4 and 5. After the family returned to Israel, he continued his studies at the Bar-Ilan elementary school in Kfar Saba. Afterward, he continued to study at the “Noam” Midreshet yeshiva in Pardes Hanna. Prior to his enlistment in the IDF, he studied at the Harav Kook Yeshiva in Jerusalem and at the Har Etzion yeshiva in Gush Etzion, and was one of its founders and founders. He devoted most of his time to Torah study and to the study of halakhah and Sages, and since he had the ability to analyze, to grasp quickly and critically, he could have gone down to the roots of things and to delve deeper into research.
