Yaniv, Haim, Dr
Son of Reuven and Dvora. He was born on 27.11.1921 in Hommel, Russia. The family immigrated to Israel in 1933. He belonged to the “Old Scouts” movement. After completing his studies at the Geula High School, he studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and even studied for two years in the United States. Was a bacteriologist by profession and published several scientific works at the Institute for Biological Research in Nes Ziona. He loved books and paintings, especially music. He was drafted into the IDF in March 1948. He died in his illness on April 29, 1954 and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
