Yanai, Ilan

Ilan, son of Tziona and Zechariah Yanai, was born in 1966 in Kiryat Malachi. He underwent IDF basic training and was sent to an education course in Givat Olga. He passed the course with high grades and at his special request was assigned to a combat unit in the Golani Brigade. On 3 Iyar, May 11, 1986, Ilan died in a road accident and was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kfar Warburg, leaving behind his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
