Yalo, Teshgar (Shahar)


The son of Berta and Tarkan. Teshgar was born in Ethiopia on May 13, 1986. He was a seventh child to his parents, and grew up in a large family with his brother Dagan and his six sisters – Torya, Zaudia, Beria, Ayala, Tadla and Yavne. Who immigrated to Israel in December 1990, first lived in an absorption center in Beer-Sheva and later moved to an apartment in the city. In the 10th grade, Shachar moved to high school under the conditions of a boarding school in Mikvah Yisrael in Holon, which he successfully completed with good matriculation grades. Mikve Yisrael Shahar was active in sports and especially in soccer, and won medals and medals for his excellence. From an early age Shachar stood out as a charming, smiling and kind man, generous and optimistic. He was a loyal son and a good friend to all his constituents, and his outstanding feature was his willingness to help and contribute to others as he was asked. Shahar often helped his parents with housework, and never refused to ask for help from family members or friends. “It’s something that is not so obvious,” says his sister, “but at Shahar it was especially felt, you could always trust him with his eyes closed and know that everything was all right.” In his spare time Shahar loved to spend time with friends, watch movies, sit in his room and listen to music. He liked to play with his young nieces, and spent hours of laughter and fun planning their lives, since Shahar had already planned how he would develop and succeed in his life after the army. At the end of high school, Shahar underwent a pre-military driving course. “Shahar was returning from the army,” says his sister, “takes off his uniform, smokes a cigarette and enters the army.” Shahar was recruited to the IDF and served faithfully as a driver in southern Israel, Into a room to listen to music he loved and watch movies. ” Sergeant Shachar fell during his service on May 2, 2008 in the Dimona area. Twenty-two years old. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Be’er Sheva. Survived by parents, brother and six sisters. On his gravestone, the family members wrote: “Shachar – your smile and kindness will always be with us.” Shachar’s sister wrote: “There was always joy and happiness in the house, and since he was gone, he took the joy of the family with him, he is always lacking, and his absence is especially felt on holidays and on Saturdays. At least we have the memories, and the huge love we have left in our hearts for Shahar. ” “It’s painful to remember the charming and hearty smile you had, it’s painful to remember the laughs we used to move together, it hurts to remember the plans we planned together after our army service, but at least what’s left is the sweet, beautiful memory we have of you, and that’s perhaps the only consolation. Is in a better place now and protects us from above, an angel among angels … We love you and miss you all the time, every day, every hour, every minute and every second.
