Yair, Avraham

Son of Naftali and Regina. Was born on September 23, 1934 in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. Immigrated to Israel in 1949. He was a tailor according to his profession. He was drafted into the IDF in December 1950. He fell in battle near Neveh Yamin on the 25th of Nissan 5713 (31.3.1952) and was buried in the cemetery in Migdal Ashkelon and on 25 November 1952 he was transferred to eternal rest In the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
