Naftali joined the Hashomer Hatzair movement, where his character was formed. He stood out in his modesty. Materialism never spoke to him. He devoted his time to nature and the landscape of the country, traveled extensively throughout the country and was a devoted son to his parents. As he grew up, he joined the military boarding school in Haifa. Despite the strict discipline demanded of him there, Naftali refused to give up his membership in Hashomer Hatza’ir and was not absent from any action, despite the long journey and the burden of studies. Naftali was very popular in society, and always contributed to her in his special way. He received all the difficulties he received with his special humor. When he completed his studies, Naftali joined together with his friends from the “Regev” nucleus, who linked his future with Kibbutz Shoval. During his military service, he made sure to maintain close contact with the nucleus and the kibbutz. When he finished his army service, he linked his future with the kibbutz. Even when he went to study at the university, in the Faculty of Geology, Naftali specialized in fields that he could apply to his kibbutz life. He studied with the help of his family, because he did not want to study at the kibbutz’s expense and be obligated to him, and therefore even left the kibbutz. After completing his studies, Naftali decided that the most important thing to do was to join the regular army. He took an officer’s course, reached the rank of major, and joined intelligence. His greatest wish was to become an intelligence officer of the Paratroopers Brigade. He had won it twice-once in a career position, and once in reserve duty. Yair, the brigade commander, says: “Naftali was a man of opposites. External negligence is almost a principle, in the face of perfection and accuracy in everything related to the fulfillment of his duties. With uncompromising principles, with himself and his role. Naftali took an active part in the establishment of the first moshav in the Jordan Valley – Petzael, and thanks to him and his friends, the moshav became a flourishing and leading garden in the Jordan settlements. Naftali participated in the Peace for Galilee War in an active manner, after which he devoted nearly half a year to reserve duty On December 21, 1982, when he went on a tour of commanders in the eastern sector of Lebanon, He fought with death and on the 7th of Tevet 5723 (23.12.1982) died. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa. On his last journey, he was accompanied by his fellow kibbutz members, senior IDF officers, comrades in arms and graduates of the military boarding school in Haifa: “Your life, Naphtali, we can not measure in general terms. You were the exception. We accompanied you in the way of your life that was an army, a kibbutz, and again an army and a kibbutz again. We knew that along with your complete and absolute devotion to the IDF, you did not see it as a way of life,
