Yado, David

Son of Shlomo (Salman) and Sara (Serena). Born in Baghdad, Iraq, on August 5, 1940, he studied at the “Kol Israel Haverim” school, and then, in 1951, he attended the Tel Aviv Model School. He then went to England, where he completed his studies at Heitan Moore College in Manchester and returned to Israel to serve in the IDF. In the Battle of the Sea of ​​Galilee he was among the first to storm a group of fighters. As a trained soldier, he was able to serve as a personal example for new recruits. In the same battle he fell on the 11th of Adar 5723 (17.3.1962) and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
