Son of Eliyahu and Ruth were born on the 17th of Av 5713 (17.7.1953) in Kfar Saba. He studied at the Dr. Remez Elementary School in Kfar Saba and later completed his studies at the ORT school, where he was a disciplined student and acquired many friends and friends in the school and in his neighborhood. And from his childhood he loved the sport and spent many hours playing soccer and basketball, was loved by his friends and established mutual help, cooperation and brotherhood, and they often held parties and went on trips around the country. His mother in the housework, he excelled in the love of order and cleanliness, was careful in his clothes, and always had a handsome, mascot appearance Galilee. There were Gideon sharp-life, playfulness and love of humanity – fluorescence properties on around him. He loved children and knew romp with them, as if he were a child himself. Gideon was drafted into the army in November 1971 and was assigned to the Armored Force. After completing basic training, he was sent to the Armored Corps as a tank mechanic, and during the Yom Kippur War he took part in the repair and rescue of tanks that were damaged in the field of battle in the Sinai Peninsula On August 27, His role in the south of the country. He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Kfar Saba. Survived by his parents, two sisters and five brothers. The father died ten months after the fall of Gideon. After his death he was promoted to First Sergeant. His family commemorated his memory at the boys’ fund, Heroes of Israel’s Systems – a charity fund for bereaved parents and young couples in Kfar Saba.
