A beautiful and loving daughter. Was born on the eve of Rosh Hashana, on the 9th of Tishrei 5743 (7.9.1983), at the Laniado Hospital in Netanya, the eldest daughter of her parents, a loving and devoted sister to Maayan and Lamoran Keren began her studies at the Shazar elementary school, She continued to Yonatan Elementary School in Netanya and completed her studies at the Hadera High School, where her family moved. Keren was known for her love of others, her devotion to her family. She loved helping others, giving, listening and contributing. Keren loved to travel, dance, spend time with her friends and engage in sports activities, from soccer to horseback riding. Keren’s independence came to fruition when she combined work with studies in order to save money in order to fulfill her desire to obtain a driver’s license. In spite of her work at Yotvata and later in M ”Haderech”, while continuing her studies, Keren completed her high school with distinction, specializing in Middle Eastern studies and communications, and received certificates of appreciation for exemplary behavior and helping others. After completing her high school studies, Keren joined the Israel Defense Forces in January 2002. After completing her basic training program, Keren was assigned to the Military Police at the Schneller base in Jerusalem and then was attached to the Border Police in Hebron for three months. During this period, Keren decided to be a combat soldier and from there moved on to a two-month consolidation process and even gave up the possibility of taking a officers’ course on the way to realizing her dream. Keren was responsible for preventing security disturbances and security checks of Palestinians, who were held in posts and patrols in Hebron.
