Yaakov, Dudu

Son of Shmuel and Juliet. He was born on April 4, 1930, in Casablanca, Morocco, where he was a member of the “Magen” self-defense organization in his homeland. His house was a home for Zionist sympathizers and its followers, and was consequently persecuted by the local authorities and finally forced to leave this diaspora and immigrated to Israel with a training core of his movement in 1950. After his training period in France, he then joined the Kibbutz Mishmar Hanegev, then went with his parents to the city and became the breadwinner of the family, and worked in the army in 1956. Dudu fell in the line of duty on 21.12.1953 and was brought to rest in the Mishmar Hanegev cemetery.
