He was educated at the “Ahava” institution in Kiryat Bialik, where he developed his musical talents and composed songs and songs that were sung by the students, The youngest of the group – as a tractor operator, until his mother immigrated to Israel and moved to live in Haifa with Gershon preparing for the London matriculation exams and entering the Technion, working as a member of the Haganah.
