Wohl, Pinchas


The son of Jacob, of blessed memory, was born on the 1st of Tishrei 5712 (October 1, 1951) in Tel Aviv. He completed his elementary studies at the Tchernichovsky School in the city and completed high school studies at the “Certified Teachers Center” High School. He was a pleasant, quiet and self-conscious boy, comfortable in character and sympathetic to his friends and acquaintances. He was naturally possessed of a sense of humor that did not leave even in difficult times. During leisure time, he liked to engage in a hobby, as a hobby, as a copper dancer and in making decorative accessories in this material. Pinchas was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in early February 1970 and was assigned to the Signal Corps, and after completing basic training he was sent to an Engineering Corps battalion and served in his position as liaison officer. He was a long-time soldier in Sinai and was given a service-operational signal, and during his service he was a good soldier, disciplined and responsible, who fulfilled his duties with the precision and satisfaction of his commanders. So that he could feed his mother and support her economically, and he would do night shifts in the army so that he could be on the side During the day he was discharged and assigned to the reserve forces, he used to go out for reserve duty and did everything he had to do with devotion, and never tried to evade or get discounts because of the situation in the family. (30.6.1975) Pinchas fell in line with his duties and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, leaving a mother and sister in a letter of condolences to the bereaved family: “Pinchas served with us during the Yom Kippur War, Fire and heavy and heavy shelling. During the war he did not rest for long nights and sat next to the devices in order to get in touch with other units and to report urgent and decisive reports. ” His family contributed to the establishment of a library in his memory at the Tchernichovsky School.
