Son of Mordechai and Berna. He was born on the 29th of Sivan 5711 (July 3, 1951) in Haifa. He completed his high school studies at the Samet School in Haifa, studying electronics, and was a member of the youth movement Hashomer Hatzair, and for a certain period of time he was also a member of the nucleus of this movement and was very interested in singing and drama. In the choir of his school and in the choir of the youth movement, and devoted a lot of time to his hobby – photography – he was an excellent student in the school, he knew Erin very well and never lost a trip to the Gadna or the youth movement.
