During the Yom Kippur War, Aharon took part in the battles in the Golan Heights. On the 22nd of Tishrei 5740 (October 22, 1973), he was injured in the assault on the Hermon conquest and was killed. He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Holon. He was survived by a mother and two brothers. After his fall, he was promoted to sergeant.
